Request for Bids
 
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Municipal Officers of the Town of Harrington for the following work for the November 1, 2017 to October 31, 2018 heating season:
·          To supply #2 fuel oil to the Firehouse
·          To supply # 1 fuel oil to the Town Office
·        To supply fuel oil for our General Assistance program and must include any after hour charges.

Bids must be completed and filed with the Town Clerk by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Bids received after that time will not be considered.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Municipal Officers held at the Harrington Town Office on Thursday, October 26, 2017, commencing at 5:00 p.m. After consideration of all bids, and within 7 days after the bids are opened, the Municipal Officers shall announce their decision. The Municipal Officers reserve the right to waive all formalities and to reject any and all bids (and to accept any bid). The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder unless the Municipal Officers exercise their right to reject all bids.
